We have a detailed meeting with you to get to know you, your requirements, and aspirations for the garden. We'll cover the full design process and answer any questions you may have. At this stage we agree on a formal brief and proposal for the design stages.
A thorough survey and analysis of your garden, taking measurements of the space, and identifying anything you want to retain. This is our chance to get a feel for your garden. What you'll receive is a scaled drawing of the existing structure.
At this stage, we begin to create different 2D layouts which we think will work best for the space and your requirements. We produce two hand-drawn coloured concept plans which show the shape and structure of the garden. We also create a mood board, which provides another visual tool to illustrate our vision. These concept layout plans and mood boards are yours to review and share feedback on.
Following your feedback from the concept designs, we produce a final layout plan that includes technical specification drawings, structural details (e.g., paving joints, retaining walls), and a comprehensive planting plan that details quantities and placement. You'll recieve construction-ready technical drawings, final moodboards, and planting schedules.
This phase covers all hard landscaping, including clearance, earthworks, drainage, and structural builds, followed by soil preparation. Once finished, you'll have a complete garden frame, ready for the planting stage.
We source the plants from our regular and trusted nurseries and growers to ensure the best plant health. Once your garden is built, we oversee the setting out of plants and our in-house team carefully implement the planting design. We'll leave you with a detailed walkthrough and care guide.
We perform regular site visits during the build to make sure everything is going perfectly to plan, and fully following with the design brief.
