Teresa has over 25 years of hands-on gardening experience and holds a BA (Hons) in Garden Design alongside her RHS Level 2 qualification. She still loves being out in the fresh air, personally overseeing projects and training the team. Looking ahead, she dreams of one day exhibiting her work at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Kate holds an RHS Level 2 in Practical Horticulture and a Diploma with distinction from The English Gardening School. Combining her training with a background in fashion, she joined the team in 2020 under Teresa’s mentorship. Like Teresa, she aspires to showcase a design at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Jamie is Teresa's son and joined the family business at the age of 16, learning the ropes alongside his mum. He has a fantastic eye for shape, form, and fine detail, earning him the title of our resident 'pruning king'. Jamie is currently building his expertise to lead the garden management division of the company, and aims to complete his arboriculture course and gain his PA1 and PA6 certificates.
Terry brings 20 years of expertise to the team, specialising in hard landscaping, aquatic installations, and a deep passion for bonsais and Acers. His favourite part of the day is building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. He finds his greatest reward in bringing gardens to life and watching them mature over time.
Chris joined us in 2024, bringing strong managerial experience and an innate ability to handle complex situations. He has developed a natural knack for topiary and shaping shrubs, and loves seeing the immediate impact of his work on a client's property. Outside of developing his landscaping skills and plant knowledge, Chris enjoys keeping fit and playing video games.
James holds an RHS Level 2 certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development alongside a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering, making him our resident IT guru. James enjoys putting his botanical knowledge into practice on site, bringing a design to life, and plans to continue his studies to dive deeper into horticulture and garden design.
Rhian holds an RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture, backed by years of experience caring for her own and neighbours' gardens. As a martial arts instructor with four black belts, she brings incredible dedication and precision to the field. Rhian loves watching new plants successfully establish, and hopes to explore how horticulture can better support local conservation efforts.
Albie joined us in early 2026 and has been rapidly learning the ropes on the job. With a background in football coaching for young children, he excels at communicating with all age groups and easily organising tasks on large projects. He thrives in a team environment and loves the reward of working outdoors on major garden transformations.
George is one of the newest members of our team, bringing valuable practical hand-skills from studying carpentry at college alongside past managerial experience. He loves being out in the elements, working with his hands, and getting stuck into new landscaping challenges. An avid traveller, George enjoys exploring new cultures whenever he isn't transforming outdoor spaces.
Claire has been a cornerstone of Chisholm Gardens since 2005, bringing over 20 years of professional horticulture experience to the field. She is a highly valued member of the team, renowned for her fine eye for detail and reliable plant care. Claire loves applying her deep botanical knowledge to keep our clients' gardens looking pristine year-round.
Viki keeps our wheels turning by managing our business office administration, billing systems, and client scheduling. She holds a Level 3 AAT Diploma in Accounting and a Level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management. Viki loves keeping the team organised and ensuring our clients receive a seamless, stress-free service from start to finish.
